Admin

On May 22, 2024, at the invitation of Ms. Wang Xiaojing, General Manager of Sunpro Power, a delegation led by Mr. Santi Promphat, Deputy Minister of Health of Thailand, and Ms. Rene, an important guest of the company, visited and inspected the Yuhuan production base of Zhejiang Sunpro Power Technology Co., Ltd.

The guests on site provided important guidance and suggestions, and had constructive conversations with the company's senior management.

On that day, Ms. Wang Xiaojing, General Manager of Sunpro, and other company leaders warmly welcomed the visiting important guests and invited to visit and inspect the Sunpro Yuhuan production base. During the visit, Vice Minister Mr. Santi Promphat gave high praise and expressed his willingness to see more high-quality new energy products in Thailand, as they can provide more favorable support for Thai healthcare.

Carbon neutrality impacts healthcare support

For this idea, Deputy Minister Santi Promphat has deeper considerations. Thailand is currently planning to achieve its carbon neutrality goals between 2065 and 2070, and there is an urgent need for energy transformation.

On the other hand, Thailand has always been a leading country in the medical industry. Globally, Thailand ranks among the top in terms of hospital qualifications, medical equipment, and the overall ability of physicians. According to statistics, the Thai medical industry currently has nearly 30,000 medical service providers, 386 private hospitals, 69 Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited hospitals, and 1,500 medical device manufacturers.

Coupled with the support of highly beneficial universal healthcare policies (such as the announcement by the Thai Ministry of Interior that starting from January 7, 2024, four provinces in Thailand will take the lead in implementing a healthcare policy that allows patients to pay only 30 Thai baht upon scanning their national ID cards to receive medical services in all public hospitals), such a vast and convenient medical foundation has made Thailand's healthcare system globally popular, with a high utilization rate of medical facilities.

This has also resulted in an exceptionally high demand for electricity in the local medical industry. Given the criticality of human health, balancing medical power supply with carbon neutrality goals under the influence of carbon neutrality targets is crucial. Specifically, this translates into very strict requirements on product performance and consistent quality.

As a leading global photovoltaic module manufacturer, Sunpro has been steadily included in the Bloomberg Tier 1 Global PV Module Manufacturer List for three consecutive years since 2022. Its products cover the current mainstream HJT, TOPCon, and PERC technologies. Sunpro's photovoltaic modules have obtained numerous international certifications such as TÜV, CE, UL, CEC, INMETRO, and MCS, and their product insurance is regulated by Lloyd's, ensuring that users enjoy a warranty of over 10 years. All of this starts from Sunpro's commitment to product quality, which is the cornerstone of its corporate values.

Due to quality requirements and considerations for global site construction, Sunpro began planning a production base in Thailand in 2022, aiming to provide stable and high-quality products locally and radiate throughout the ASEAN region, offering excellent support to everyone who urgently needs power supply.
The invitation to visit by Deputy Minister Santi Promphat and others was also based on trust in and an inspection of the capabilities of this globally leading manufacturer. We look forward to bringing more possibilities to Thailand's economic and people's livelihood development.

At the end of the visit, leaders of Sunpro posed for a commemorative photo with Deputy Minister Santi Promphat and the visiting delegation, exchanging souvenirs.
