As the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 draws to a close, Bloomberg has released its first list of Tier 1 global photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturers for the year. Influenced by various factors including the PV market conditions and national policies, and coinciding with year-end festivals in various countries, overall production capacity has experienced minor fluctuations compared to Q4 2024. The module market is currently absorbing inventory from the previous year.

Among them, Sunpro Power not only continues to secure its position on Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) Tier 1 list but also makes steady progress, with its annual production capacity increasing to 3GW.

Compared to Q4 2024, there was a slight decline in the overall capacity of the photovoltaic industry.

According to the statistics from BNEF, in Q1 2025, the total annual capacity of global tier-one PV module manufacturers reached 942,700 MW. Compared to the 1,024,350 MW reported in Q4 2024, there was a fluctuation of approximately 7.971% in capacity scale.
