Sunpro Power has obtained the French PPE2 Certification, ushering in a new chapter of green development.

Admin

On December 4, Sunpro Power officially obtained certification from Certisolis, a prestigious French carbon footprint certification body. The company's high-efficiency n-type modules (including rectangular modules) have been awarded the relevant certification. This honor marks a solid step forward for the company in promoting green energy development and reducing carbon emissions. It will provide better and more stable project support for global clients and strengthen its advantages in carbon tax-related areas.

About French PPE2 Certification

The PPE2 carbon footprint certification is implemented by the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and is the most authoritative carbon footprint-related certification for photovoltaic products exceeding 100kW entering the French market. Based on the principles of science, impartiality, and transparency, the PPE2 certification system comprehensively tracks various stages of photovoltaic modules, including raw material procurement, production, transportation, and emissions, to collect and calculate detailed carbon emission values. This ensures effective assessment of the greenhouse gas emissions of products and is highly challenging to obtain.

Awarding this carbon footprint certification to Sunpro Power provides strong support for its further expansion in the French and European markets. Since its establishment, Sunpro Power has been dedicated to the research and production of efficient and reliable photovoltaic modules, providing global clients with high-quality green energy solutions. The company has two automated production bases in China with an annual output value exceeding 3GW and is actively planning overseas factory projects. With excellent product quality and superior services, it has steadily ranked among BloombergNEF's global Tier 1 photovoltaic module manufacturers for three consecutive years.

Currently, the company has established branches and warehouses in Germany, the United States, Brazil, the Netherlands, and other countries, forming a comprehensive global sales and service network. This provides robust support for the rapid promotion and delivery of products worldwide.

In terms of product quality, Sunpro Power always adheres to high standards and strict requirements. Its photovoltaic modules have passed certifications from TUV, CE, UL, Inmetro, CEC, and other countries, fully demonstrating their safety and reliability. Additionally, Sunpro Power has insured its products with Lloyd's underwriting, offering a performance guarantee up to 30 years, providing clients with even greater peace of mind.

Obtaining the PPE2 certification is another significant achievement for Sunpro Power in the field of environmental protection. The certification not only proves that the company's products have lower carbon emissions during production and use but also reflects its firm determination and practical actions in promoting green energy development. In the future, Sunpro Power will continue to uphold the development philosophy of "green, innovative, and efficient," providing global clients with even better photovoltaic module products and services, and contributing more to global energy transformation and sustainable development.

About Carbon Footprint:

Carbon footprint certification is an internationally recognized environmental certification aimed at assessing the greenhouse gas emissions generated by a product or service throughout its entire lifecycle. Through strict evaluation standards and procedures, this certification ensures that products or services comply with environmental requirements at all stages, including raw material extraction, manufacturing, transportation, use, and disposal, thereby effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development. The EU Carbon Footprint Regulation entered into force on August 18, 2023, and from July 2024, it requires power and industrial batteries sold in the European market to declare their carbon footprints. After July 2027, these batteries must also meet the carbon footprint limit requirements. This regulation will also involve the production and sale of photovoltaic modules.
